FTCE Health K-12 Resource Materials

The FTCE website provides free resource materials for this exam, including a 27-question practice test. The great thing about this practice test is that it comes from the test-makers themselves, so you can count on it being up-to-date and accurate. It will also closely mirror the format and style of questions from the real exam.

The downside is that it does not provide explanations for correct or incorrect answers. It also does not cover all of the tested competencies. So while this practice test might be a good starting point for your studying, you’ll likely want to supplement it with a longer practice test or one that includes answer rationales.

Mometrix FTCE Health K-12 Test Secrets Study Guide

Mometrix is another source for a reliable and up-to-date FTCE Health K-12 study guide. One thing to note about Mometrix is that their study guides place a strong emphasis on test-taking tips, tricks, and “secrets,” which might be helpful for the test but less useful in your actual teaching career.

The biggest downside to this resource is that it’s only available as a printed book or e-book. If you prefer a more traditional textbook format, this guide might be right for you. However, many test-takers find other interactive, online study guides to be more user-friendly.
